That’s getting really close to history.

The all-time LPGA single-season earnings record belongs to Lorena Ochoa, who racked up $4.36 million back in 2007 when she won eight tournaments.

Now Korda has a shot at breaking that 16-year-old record – and in spectacular fashion.

There’s just one tournament left this season: the CME Group Tour Championship. But it’s a big one. The winner takes home $4 million from the massive $11 million purse.

The math is pretty simple. Win next week, and Korda shatters Ochoa’s record. Even a top finish could do it.

This week’s victory at Pelican Golf Club in Naples, Florida came with a $3.25 million total purse up for grabs.

And with the season finale just around the corner, all eyes will be on Korda to see if she can cap off this remarkable year by making LPGA history.
