Becky Morgan dominated the U.S. Senior Women’s Open on Sunday, firing a 3-under 70 in the final round to secure a commanding six-stroke victory over Juli Inkster at San Diego Country Club.

Morgan, who just turned 50 in September, made quite the impression in her Senior Women’s Open debut. The former LPGA and Ladies European Tour winner finished at 7-under 285 for the tournament, leaving the competition well behind.

Inkster, 65, put together a solid final round 71 but couldn’t close the gap on Morgan’s lead.

Liselotte Neumann claimed third place at even par after posting a final-round 74.

What’s interesting is how Morgan separated herself from her co-leaders. Maria McBride and Corina Kelepouris, who shared the lead with Morgan entering Sunday, both struggled with 78s. They finished tied for fourth at 1-over alongside 2024 winner Leta Lindley, who shot 73.

Annika Sorenstam, who led after the opening round, couldn’t recapture that early magic. She closed with a 72 to finish tied for eighth at 3-over.
