Top-ranked Cameron Young has pulled out of this week’s World Wide Technology Championship in Mexico, leaving the tournament without its biggest star.
The PGA Tour announced Young’s withdrawal on Wednesday but didn’t give a reason why he’s skipping the event. Sean O’Hair will take his spot in the field.

Young, who’s still hunting for his first PGA Tour win, sits at No. 33 in the world rankings. His departure means there are only two top-50 players teeing it up at El Cardonal in Los Cabos:
* Max Greyserman (No. 40)
* Lucas Glover (No. 47)
This tournament marks the sixth stop in the FedExCup Fall series. There’s plenty at stake – players are battling for their 2025 Tour cards, with only the top 125 in points keeping their full playing privileges.
The event at El Cardonal, a stunning Tiger Woods-designed course overlooking the Pacific Ocean, continues the Tour’s fall swing through warmer climates as winter approaches in the U.S.
