The 42-event schedule kicks off next week, spanning at least 26 countries across the globe.
Remember the Turkish Open? It’s making its comeback after a five-year break, setting up shop at the stunning Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort in May. Golf enthusiasts haven’t seen a pro tournament in Austria since 2021, but that drought ends with the Austrian Alpine Open in late May – marking the 23rd time this historic national championship will be played.
There’s another interesting twist: The Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa is getting a schedule makeover. Instead of its usual spot near season’s end, it’s moving to early in the calendar year.
The season’s journey starts Down Under with the Australian PGA Championship (November 21-24), part of what they’re calling the “Opening Swing” – a series including stops in Australia, South Africa, and Mauritius.
From there, the tour heads to the Middle East for five events in the “International Swing,” followed by four Asian tournaments. Europe takes center stage from May through August.
The playoffs still feature two heavyweight events: the Abu Dhabi Championship and the season-ending World Tour Championship in Dubai.
But here’s the interesting part – the tour’s future isn’t exactly set in stone. With ongoing talks between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour about reuniting the sport, there’s still some uncertainty about what professional golf might look like in the coming years.
One thing’s for sure though: next season’s going to be packed with more golf, more destinations, and more prize money than ever before.
