Jon Rahm captured the LIV Golf Hong Kong title on Sunday, ending his individual victory drought with a commanding three-shot win.

The Spanish star fired a 6-under final round to finish at 23-under for the tournament, finally securing his first individual trophy since LIV Golf Chicago in 2024. Thomas Detry claimed runner-up honors at 20-under, while Thomas Pieters rounded out the top three at 19-under.

“I’ve been very ecstatic for wins in the past. This one just feels like a big weight off my shoulders,” Rahm said after his victory.

What made this win particularly satisfying was how Rahm separated himself from a crowded leaderboard. He entered Sunday’s final round in a three-way tie at 17-under with Detry and Harold Varner III before pulling away at Hong Kong Golf Club’s historic Fanling course.

“I played really good all day,” Rahm explained. “It was incredible. But I just tried to stay very patient and committed to each shot, knowing that I was doing everything right and things were going to happen.”

Rahm’s victory showcases his return to form after an uncharacteristic title drought. The former world number one and major champion has been showing flashes of his elite game in recent months, and this breakthrough win confirms he’s back on track.

On the team side, Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces GC claimed the team title, adding another trophy to their growing collection.
