Kristoffer Reitan held on for his second career DP World Tour victory Sunday at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, watching his five-shot lead nearly disappear before securing a one-stroke win in Sun City, South Africa.

The 27-year-old Norwegian, who earned his first DPWT title at the Soudal Open in May and locked up PGA Tour membership for 2026, started the final round at Gary Player Country Club with a commanding five-shot cushion over Jayden Schaper. He maintained a four-shot advantage over both Schaper and Dan Bradbury at the turn, but things got dicey down the stretch.

After five straight pars and a costly bogey at the par-4 15th, Reitan’s lead had shrunk to just one shot.

Schaper, the 24-year-old South African, made his move with four birdies in his first 12 holes. But his momentum stalled, and he couldn’t find another birdie, settling for a bogey-free 68 that left him at 16 under. England’s Bradbury fired an impressive bogey-free 66 but also failed to capitalize late, parring his final holes to finish alongside Schaper, one shot back.

Reitan’s front nine was a rollercoaster with just two pars, but he steadied himself after a flubbed chip at 15. His most nerve-wracking moment came at the par-4 17th, where he converted a tense 6-footer for par that ultimately proved decisive.

“I’m trying my best to deal with nervousness, fear,” Reitan admitted afterward. “It’s really, really difficult. I’ve managed to do that really well ever since midseason last year… I’ve been feeling nervous all week, to be honest, but it just kept getting increasingly more. And today was a different story. You can maybe tell on some of the shots that I hit as well. I’m just really glad to get it over the line and to get the courage to hit the shots that I needed to hit down the stretch here especially.”

South Africa’s Christiaan Bezuidenhout finished solo fourth at 13 under, one shot ahead of countryman Shaun Norris. American Will Zalatoris showed signs of his old form with a strong weekend (68-67) to claim solo 15th.
