Players are showing off their new gear and sponsorship deals at Kapalua, and Max Homa’s making the biggest waves.

The six-time PGA Tour winner has jumped ship to Cobra Puma Golf and lululemon in what’s shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest equipment moves.

Homa’s trading in his longtime Titleist clubs for Cobra’s drivers, irons and wedges. But he’s keeping a few familiar favorites in the bag – his trusty Scotty Cameron putter and the Titleist Pro V1x ball he’s used to win multiple times.

“The clubs just felt amazing during testing,” Homa said. “I really think they’ll give me an edge out there.”

He’ll also be sporting a whole new look, rocking lululemon gear and Puma shoes on the course.

It’s part of the annual January tradition at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, where pros debut their fresh sponsorship deals like kids showing off new school clothes.

But Homa’s not the only one making changes for 2024.

Rising star Akshay Bhatia has signed with Travis Mathew for his on-course wardrobe. The 21-year-old is sticking with Callaway clubs though – the same equipment he’s used since turning pro in 2017.

South African pro Christiaan Bezuidenhout is going all-in with PXG, using their clubs and wearing their gear from head to toe.

More equipment and sponsorship announcements are expected throughout the week as players tee it up in Maui.
