Nelly Korda’s showing everyone why she’s the world’s best golfer – again.

After a rough start in Naples, the world No. 1 came roaring back with a perfect round on Friday at the CME Group Tour Championship. Not a single bogey in sight as she fired off a 66.

It all started with a spectacular eagle on the third hole, when she holed out from the fairway. Talk about turning things around after Thursday’s disappointing even-par round.

“When it gets a little windy it’s hard, it sways you around a little bit more,” Korda said after her round. She’d spent extra time on the range with her team, figuring out what went wrong on day one.

Turns out she needed to fix her backswing – a small technical tweak that made a huge difference.

The impressive 66 matched the day’s best score among early players, pushing her into a tie for fourth. She’s now just four shots behind Angel Yin, who’s leading the tournament.

What’s at stake? Oh, just a casual $4 million bonus and the chance to win back-to-back tournaments.

Korda’s already had an incredible year with seven wins and the Player of the Year title locked up. But she’s not done yet.

The secret to her bounce-back round? Some room service and an early night. “It’s nice to have a day where you can reset mentally,” she said, after a busy week of sponsor events and tour commitments.

Now she’s perfectly positioned for a weekend charge at what could be the perfect end to her remarkable season.
