The PGA Championship has adjusted its Saturday tee times due to dangerous weather conditions in Charlotte, North Carolina. Players at Quail Hollow Club will now begin their third round at 11:43 a.m. EDT instead of the originally scheduled 8:15 a.m. start.
To accommodate the weather delay, officials have implemented a two-tee start with groups teeing off from both the first and tenth holes. The final group will now start at 1:55 p.m., which is 40 minutes earlier than initially planned before the adjustment.
The change means a compressed schedule with players going off in quick succession from both tees. This format allows tournament organizers to complete the round despite the significant weather delay while maintaining competitive integrity.
