Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy headline the Texas Children’s Houston Open field, bringing the world’s top two ranked players to Memorial Park Golf Course March 27-30.
Scheffler, the world No. 1, returns to Houston with unfinished business. He narrowly missed forcing a playoff with Stephan Jaeger last year after a 5-foot putt slipped by, marking his second runner-up finish at this event in three years.
McIlroy, ranked second globally, is making his first Houston appearance since 2014. He’s coming off a strong showing at the Players Championship and, like Scheffler, will use this as his final competitive tune-up before the Masters.

Both players have their eyes on Augusta National, where Scheffler will defend his green jacket April 10-13. The Houston event gives them one last opportunity to sharpen their games against a full 156-player field.
