U.S. Women’s Open Future Sites: Iconic Venues Set Through 2048

The 80th U.S. Women’s Open kicks off May 29 at Erin Hills in Wisconsin, running through June 1. The USGA has mapped out an impressive lineup of championship venues for decades to come, featuring some of America’s most storied courses.

Riviera Country Club will host in 2026, followed by Inverness Club in 2027. Oakmont Country Club, one of golf’s most demanding tests, appears multiple times on the schedule, hosting in both 2028 and 2038.

Pebble Beach Golf Links stands out as the most frequent future host, scheduled for three championships in 2035, 2040, and 2048. It’s a testament to the iconic coastal layout’s standing in the game.

What makes this schedule particularly notable is the inclusion of venues like Shinnecock Hills, Merion, and The Country Club – historic sites that have traditionally hosted men’s majors. This represents a significant commitment to showcasing women’s golf on the sport’s grandest stages.
