Seven members from this year’s victorious U.S. Walker Cup team at Cypress Point have accepted invitations to the upcoming practice session for the 2026 Walker Cup at Lahinch.
The practice session runs December 18-20 at three South Florida venues: Seminole Golf Club, McArthur Golf Club and Jupiter Hills Club. In total, 18 players will attend.
World No. 1 Jackson Koivun headlines the group. The Auburn junior has already secured PGA Tour membership through PGA Tour University’s Accelerated program, meaning he can turn pro after either of the next two NCAA Championships and immediately receive Tour status for a season and a half. His acceptance of the practice session invitation suggests he’s at least considering staying amateur for another year, though he hasn’t made a final decision.
The practice roster includes a strong mid-amateur presence with five-time Walker Cupper Stewart Hagestad joined by Evan Beck and Bobby Massa. Four high schoolers will also participate, including reigning U.S. Amateur champion Mason Howell, who made his Walker Cup debut this year. Miles Russell, Luke Colton and Tyler Watts round out the high school contingent.
