The PGA Championship returns to Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, May 15-18 for its 107th edition.

Looking further ahead, the PGA of America announced Tuesday that Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma will make history in 2032. The venue will become the first to host six PGA Championships, adding to its impressive resume that includes the 1970, 1982, 1994, 2007, and 2022 tournaments.

Southern Hills has become something of a second home for the PGA Championship. The historic Perry Maxwell design, which underwent a significant restoration by Gil Hanse in 2019, has consistently delivered memorable championships. Justin Thomas claimed the most recent Wanamaker Trophy there in 2022, outlasting Will Zalatoris in a playoff.

Here’s where golf’s second major of the season is headed over the next decade:

2026 (108th) PGA Championship
Aronimink Golf Club
Newtown Square, Pennsylvania

2027 (109th) PGA Championship
PGA Frisco
Frisco, Texas

2028 (110th) PGA Championship
The Olympic Club
Lake Course
San Francisco, California

2029 (111th) PGA Championship
Baltusrol Golf Club
Lower Course
Springfield, New Jersey

2030 (112th) PGA Championship
Congressional Country Club
Blue Course
Bethesda, Maryland

2031 (113th) PGA Championship
Kiawah Island Golf Resort
The Ocean Course
Kiawah Island, South Carolina

2032 (114th) PGA Championship
Southern Hills Country Club
Tulsa, Oklahoma

No site yet announced for 2033.

2034 (116th) PGA Championship
PGA Frisco
Frisco, Texas

The future lineup features a mix of classic venues and newer additions to the major championship rotation. PGA Frisco, the organization’s new headquarters that opened in 2022, gets its second championship in 2034 after debuting as host in 2027. Meanwhile, historic sites like Baltusrol, Congressional and Kiawah Island’s Ocean Course continue their major championship traditions.

What’s particularly interesting is the PGA’s commitment to bringing its flagship event to the heartland with multiple visits to Southern Hills. It’s a strategy that contrasts with the U.S. Open’s recent coastal focus and gives the PGA Championship its own distinct identity in the major championship landscape.
